Love the chicken!!
Poor service, the tables and chairs can use an upgrade. The chef needs to improve the quality of the food.
MoreThe people were rude and not friendly. I will drive to D.C. or Maryland for REAL island food. This place had Overpriced tasteless food from culture vultures. Spanish ppl that don't know diddly about what they are selling. They call it Caribbean grill but it's DISTINCTLY JAMAICAN FOOD ITEMS yet NOT ONE staff member or cook is Jamaican or Caribbean at all and it shows in the food. A Patty (not meat pie, not meat empanada) should not be $4 +Tax. RIDICULOUS . Never going back.
MoreAmazing chicken and Cuban rice. Very sad when it shut down for covid but happy it is shut down no longer amen.
MoreExcellent food. Simply cook.
Good prices and delicious food. The jerk chicken is so tasty and the fried yucca was good. Also both rices are great too
MoreFamily has been coming here for 20+ years and will continue to enjoy this restaurant. Staff is considerate, food is delicious, and prices are reasonable! Only wish they used reusable plates/silverware, but that won't stop me from going back time and time again.
MoreFood tastes great.
To Spicy The chicken
Good food. Homemade. Popular with locals and construction crews.
The restaurant is awesome and broad, the meals was enchanting and the rates were very affordable. quickly, productive service and very welcoming staff. I recommend this place.
MoreBeen going here for 20 years and this dive never disappoints. Chicken is delish as are the saltenas and empanadas.
MoreDisgustingly dirty. Chairs are sticky. Tables are sticky. Food is below average at best. Service quality feels like the employees don't care. Avoid this place. There are many more affordable Caribbean restaurants in VA, DC, and MD.
MoreGood food and good service, good prices
Never disappointed. Still my favorite Cuban sandwich. Chicken is finger licking good. Feels like home.
MoreA hidden gem in Arlington. I stumbled on this place when I went to the Taylor. Good food, inexpensive.
MoreGood service's
The food is not Cuban and the flavor it’s far to be a Cuban restaurant
Looking for an upgrade on the crack chicken with more that just fries for a side? This place is the best... recommend the Cuban Rice and Ropa Vieja!
MoreExcellent food. Good location. Fast service
Food tasted really good, but on the warm side. Some have mentioned price, but one would surmise that the added cost is due to the high rent they pay in Arlington. The place is clean and well kept. Bright and colorful interior.
MoreGood Cuban and the best food I ever tried in years... love it 😍👍🏻
Great place for ropa viea
Some of the best jerk chicken around! Great by itself and also with the included yellow and green sauces (yellow is mayonnaisey, while the green has a little heat to it. FYI, green's flavor does take some getting used to). Love the fried plantains and the flan is good too.
MoreThis place is so good. I went twice in a row ! Order the oxtail one day and jerk chicken the next. Both so yummy. Have to try both of these dishes. Simone is so sweet very attentive and has a great smile and attitude. Defiantly will come here regularly!
MoreDelicious jerk chicken & Cuban rice. Empanada was dried up & old the last time.. very disappointed given that I got it to go & didn't realize it was no good until I got home.
MoreThe food was quite tasty!Very similar to food I've eaten in Peru. Many itemsAvailable fried & baked.Cafeteria style. Bottled soft drinks and water.Decor nice, reflecting Cuban culture. Tables not all cleaned. Sticky and a bit iffy for a clean eatery. Floor tiled, basically clean. Need to work on presentation, over all and of individual orders. Paper & plastic is okay but again presented in a sloppy manner.Prices more than reasonable and perhaps aligned with some of their clientele. Many folks ordered take out. I'd be careful who I recommend trying this place. Many other places for same foods.
MoreWe are on vacation in DC and so far have not found any food with flavor BUT this place is on point! The black beans are out of this world and I don't even like black beans, well I didn't...Masitas de Puerco is outstanding and the plantains are incredible...
MoreI'm still happy and full. The food is amazing
I really loved their dishes. I always get good service there. The place is always clean and the employees are always welcoming. Will come visit again.
MoreDo NOT eat here! The pictures on the website will fool you! We spent money to take an uber all the way here from our hotel...and the food was old and nasty!
MoreGreat food and the prices are great too!
Very good place for a quick cheap meal. My son and I came in as they were closing, but they welcomed us and were very glad to serve us. The furniture is colorful and fun as are the carved wooden animals. We enjoyed the food and if we want to grab a bite quickly and would like Caribbean food, this is a very good place to get it.
MoreGot the Cuban sandwich it tasted as good as the ones I used to get in Miami Florida. The shop reminds of the smaller Ma/Pa places I went to.
MoreReally good food. I had the curry chicken with Cuban rice (black beans mixed with rice) and a side of veggies. Curry was at a good spice level. The person with me had the meal deal with a chicken breast and a wing, + 2 sides. The chicken he got was awesome. Fried yuca was also good. Be sure to try the yellow sauce (in what is usually the mustard container) with the chicken.
MoreFood and customer service was great. This is a spot that is drive pass you will miss it, but smell it cooking in the air and that will draw you in. I love glass front were you can see the open pit slow roasting the chickens. Nothing like see were you food is coming from and how its prepared. When your in Arlington on the north side, check this spot out. Your going to love it!
MoreThe food was great the right mix of spice and heat, great customer service and a wonderful atmosphere. love it.
MoreA little expensive, but good food. Got two lunch dishes for $20. It looked to be family run and decent customer service.
MoreTasty not dry rotisserie chicken. Excellent rice and beans
I loved this place. Amazing authentic Caribbean cousine. The staff was so nice and attentive. Everything was clean, it made me feel like home.
MoreCame here to try thier famous "Cuban" sandwich.....what a joke. Not worth 9 bucks either
MoreOnoLiscious (Delicious) Caribbean Food in Arlington!I tried the Jerked Chicken & Cuban Rice and it is Amazing! I'm Definitely Coming Back to Taste the other dishes they offer. Old School Authentic Decor. Lots of People Dining and Enjoying the Delicious Caribbean Food. Definitely Worth a Try...
MoreI actually love the food and customer service, fantastic location to my residence. The employees are always very kind. Will visit here again.
MorePrices in the restaurant are much higher than the ones shown on their website.
Great Cuban sandwich, ropa vieja almost as good as my mother-in-law made. Chicken is excellent. Good sides.
MoreSpent over. $40.00 here. Poor ..don't order food from this rip off place. No soup available.Bread was hard for steak and cheese and hard for chicken sandwich.Pot roast was disgusting.French fries were pitiful. You are wasting time eating here.
MoreMouth watering flavors. & great sides for Vegetarians (Mua!). My friends say that it's the best seasoned chicken! They've also expanded, so more seating!
MoreVery friendly, authentic, and a warm atmosphere. Will absolutely be returning
I am originally fro Miami so I know what this should taste like. I you miss cuban food, you will be very pleased. Their empanadas are spectacular. If only they had Cuban Coffee....
MoreGreat, affordable Cuban cuisine. Friendly staff and comfortable seating. Felt like I was back in the Caribbean! Parking is tight, but the food is worth it.
